Created by a seniored Labor & Delivery Nurse who is a mom of 2, and a Health Educator who is a Mom of 4, we’re two sisters excited to share this Birth Plan with you!

We created this Birth Plan with YOU in mind hoping it will ease your worries going into L&D. We want you to feel confident as you approach Labor & Delivery, After Birth AND bringing your sweet baby home.

This Birth Guide is full of gems, in it you’ll find the following:

• General Info – A place to document mom’s medical info related to pregnancy.
• Baby Name Tracker! Doodle all the names you’re thinking of or boldly declare the name you’re set on, either way get ready to snuggle that sweet baby in your arms!
• MASTER hospital bag checklist not only for Mama but also for baby – this hospital bag checklist is broken down into categories and includes things that are must haves as well as option too.
• Early Labor and Active Labor preferences – This section helps expecting parents feel confident about what options they have during each phase of labor.
• C-Section Delivery Preferences – whether you’re planning on a c-section or want to consider this in case of emergency, make sure to document your preferences for this delivery method too!
• An “Off-Plan” Preference section which helps parents prepare for the scenarios when labor and delivery doesn’t quite go as expected.
• After Birth Preferences for Mom & Baby. This section includes details about the hospital stay, medication, feeding, and more so you can be prepared after birth to experience what’s right for you!
• In-Case of NICU – You’ll also find a section about decisions in-case of a NICU stay. This is one of the most emotional surprises parents can face right after delivery. We’ve added this section for you to think these details in case that happens so you’re prepared and ready to know what’s possible for you and baby.
• Planning for bringing baby home Guide – this section is all about what to think of when you get home or what to have prepared as you bring your sweet baby back home.
• Mama Essentials – this page is packed full of gems. You’ll find a full list of essential products that have been HAND-SELECTED by us with easy to access links.
• Baby Essentials – there are actually two pages of baby product essential product links that we’ve added to help you sort through the noise of what to pick vs what not to – all so baby has everything needed.
• Letter to Baby – One of our most favorite parts of this whole Birth Plan is the Letter to Baby page. You can bring this with you to the hospital to write a letter to your baby so you can capture what’s on your mind and heart on that very special day! You can share the story of how it all happened on labor day, or even just your thoughts on meeting your new addition!
• Letter to Partner – Don’t forget your partner! Take a moment to document your feelings, your gratitude, your appreciation for your partner on this special day as well!
• Affirmations – Because we all need to remember we are enough, we are strong, we can do hard things and that we are capable! Keep these affirmations close to you as you journey through L&D and those first few weeks as you adjust to postpartum.
