Have you ever run out of baby gift ideas? You have a baby shower and don’t quite know what to get the mom-to-be? Here is a cute, cheap, fast gift that everyone will love!
This is what you’ll need:
- one package of newborn diapers
- 3 rubber bands (per baby)
- 1 receiving blanket (per baby)
- 1 binkie (per baby)
- 2 – 3 pairs of socks (per baby)
- 1 newborn hat (per baby)
- A ribbon to tie around at the end
The main body is diapers inside. So get a stack of 15 or so and put a rubber band around it. Then grab some more diapers and make a circle out of it for the head. I think I had about 9? Put a rubber band around that. I took the third rubber band and tied the previous two rubber bands together. Put the hat on the head of the baby. Put the binkie in the middle of the diaper circle.
Now wrap the baby in the swaddled blanket. I layed about 3 – 4 diapers down under the diaper baby to give it a little more stability. Then lay the baby down, and swaddle. It might take a few tries to get it perfect. Tie the ribbon around the swaddled baby to hold the blanket in place. Last stuff the socks to make it look like it has hands.
