I have been working on this for quite some time now, and I finally can tell you all about it!!
Alright, so what is 7 by 11?
7 by 11 is an online class that I developed. In short; it is a comprehensive guide to effectively teach youth about healthy sexuality.
A summary of the backstory:
I have been working on this course for the past 6 years. I graduated in Health Education and specifically studied and focused on healthy sexuality. I taught at a local university multiple lessons pertaining to this subject – not only did I teach human sexuality, but I taught future teachers how to teach healthy sexuality. There is an art to teaching sex ed. It is a difficult subject to approach but, if handled appropriately, you can bridge the gap of awkwardness and dramatically strengthen your family relationships.

Who:
Who is 7 by 11 for? The class was specifically designed for parents. But it can be extremely beneficial for professionals and teachers alike.
In short; for anyone who is looking to dramatically improve their communication skills & feel more confident talking to youth about sexuality.
What:
7 by 11 is an online class that teaches 7 highly effective concepts to teach children about sex ed by the age 11.
The online class consists of 9 chapters; videos, powerpoints, slides, and text included.
Where:
It’s an online class. So you can access it anywhere.
The concepts taught are most effective when applied in the home; but great second-best options include in a clinical or professional setting.
When:
As for the class, you can access the content anytime, for as long as you want. It never expires. {although, I’ll be updating as I continue to research}
As for when to teach your kids about sexuality?
It is best to begin around age 3 – 4 and slowly add upon the information you discuss. {years in the making}.
It is never too late or too early to start. The program dives into the details of how to apply each lesson at an age-appropriate level.
How:
We dive into the depths of how in the class; but the best and most effective way to teach kids about healthy sexuality is having awesome communication with them.
