I just moved into a new home and we decided to completely redo the kitchen! It took a month of hard work and a lot of our savings! In my new kitchen I bought a large white, one tub sink and I LOVE it!
There are so many amazing things about having such a large beautiful sink; except one – it definitely shows the dirt, scuffs and food more than another color. But have no fear, I have the perfect way to clean a white sink!

This formula to clean my white sink is actually the same way I clean my glass stovetop. In fact, I always clean the two (stovetop and sink) together!

Okay, you ready? It’s super, super simple.
-
- First, I start by making sure my sink is all cleared out {obviously, right?}
- Next, I get the sink just a little wet
- Third, I sprinkle dawn dish soap around the sink
- Add the baking soda
- Drizzle the hydrogen peroxide
- First, I start by making sure my sink is all cleared out {obviously, right?}
- Start by mixing the three ingredients together. If it’s too “powdery” then add a little more hydrogen peroxide. If it’s too wet add a little more baking soda. It should turn into a really nice paste.
- Here comes the fun part! Use your mama strength to scrub the sink. You’ll instantly see a difference. It does take some good elbow grease but I’ve noticed that if you do this frequently enough it’s not bad each time. (I usually do this every time I wash my stovetop so the concoction is already mixed.) Typically I clean my white kitchen sink once a week or less.
- rinse it down and see the shine!!
Super easy, right!! Now you don’t have to stress about all the pots and pans scuffing your sink or that red sauce that always stains no matter how fast you wash it down the drain! You can have a clean white sink in no time!
Let me know if you tried it out and how it worked for you!
